Organism Living thing
Habitat An environment that provides the things a specific organism needs to live
Biotic factors Parts of a habitat that were once alive and that inner act which organisms called biotic factors
Abiotic factors Are the non living parts of and organisms habitat
Population All the members of one species living in a particular area
Species Group of organisms that can mate with each other and produce offspring
Community All the different populations that live together in an area
Ecosystem Organisms that live in a particular area along with the non living environment
Ecology That study of how organisms interact with each other and with their environment

Limiting factor Environmental factors the causes a population to stop growing or decrease in size
Carrying capacity The largest population that an area can support
