| Organism | Living thing |
| Habitat | An environment that provides the things a specific organism needs to live |
| Biotic factors | Parts of a habitat that were once alive and that inner act which organisms called biotic factors |
| Abiotic factors | Are the non living parts of and organisms habitat |
| Population | All the members of one species living in a particular area |
| Species | Group of organisms that can mate with each other and produce offspring |
| Community | All the different populations that live together in an area |
| Ecosystem | Organisms that live in a particular area along with the non living environment |
| Ecology | That study of how organisms interact with each other and with their environment |
| Population | All the members of one species living in a particular area |
| Density | The number of individuals in an area of a specific size |
| Limiting factor | Environmental factors the causes a population to stop growing or decrease in size |
| Carrying capacity | The largest population that an area can support |
| Symbiosis | Is any relationship is which two species live closely together. |
