| Activity Attributes | The description of the activity by identifying the multiple components associated with each activity |
| Analogous Estimating | A technique for estimating the duration or cost of an activity or a project using historical data from a similar activity or project. |
| Bottom-Up Estimating | A method of estimating project duration or cost by aggregating the estimates of the lower-level components of the work breakdown structure (WBS). |
| Crashing | A technique used to shorten the schedule duration for the least incremental cost by adding resources. |
| Critical Chain Method | A schedule method that allows the project team to place buffers on any project schedule path to account for limited resources and project uncertainties. |
| Critical Path Method | A project-management tool that illustrates the relationships among all the activities involved in completing a project and identifies the sequence of activities likely to take the longest to complete |
| Majority | A number or percentage equaling more than half of a total |
| Plurality | The number of votes cast for a candidate who receives more than any other but does not receive an absolute majority |
| Slack | The amount of time that an activity can be delayed before the project is delayed; also known as float |
