TermDefinition
Archetype (n.) A recognizable character type that occurs repeatedly across cultures and eras. Ex. Villans and heros.
Era (n.) An age or a period in time.
Movement (n.) A way to group literature by similarities in content rather than by genre or time period. (The works express similar beliefs or philosophies.
Historical account (n.) A structured narrative record or description of past events, people, or situations, based on evidence, testimonies, or research.
Position (n.) The opinion, point of view, or stance that a character, narrator, or author talks about something.
Coherent (adj.) Clear, logical, and easy to follow because all the parts are connected and make sense together.
Focus(n.) The main idea or point that your writing or discussion stays centered on.
Connotation (n.) The feelings associated with a word (in addition to the meaning.)
Curate (v.) To select, organize, and represent content, items, or experiences, typically for a specific theme, audience, or purpose.
Text feature (n.) Something added to a text to enhance understandings or interest.
Cooperate To work together

Herded (v.) Moved as a group in a particular direction. (Like animals)
Sharp (adj.) Mentally alert or quick.
Boarded (v.) Rented a room. (Usually includes food)
Drafted (v.) Required to join the military.
Ignorant (adj.) Lacking knowledge, information, or awareness.
Flung (v.) Threw with force.
Catapulted (v.) Launched forward with machine like force.
Lurched (v.) Staggered ; moved unsteadily
Struggling (v.) Trying to do with difficulty
Impairments (n.) Injury; damage
Frustrated (adj.) Prevented from accomplishing
