QuestionAnswer
Circle All points equidistant from a center point
Diameter A line segment that passes through the center with endpoints on the circle
Radius A line segment drawn from the center to apoint on the circle
Chord A line segment that has both endpoints on the circle
Secant A line segment that intersects the circle at two points
Tangent A line segment that intersects the circle exactly once
Central < Angle with a vertex at the center of the circle. Is = to the intercepted arc
Inscribed < Angle with a vertex on the circle. 1/2 the measure of the intercepted arc
Circumference The distance around a circle
Arc A fraction of the distance around a circle.
