| Sequester | Sequester means to isolate, set apart, or seize something, often used in legal contexts to isolate juries or witnesses to ensure impartiality. |
| Aquatic | Aquatic" refers to anything relating to, living in, or taking place in water |
| Indefinitely | Indefinitely" means for an unlimited, unknown, or unspecified period of time, or to an undefined extent |
| Secrete | to produce and release a substance (like sweat or hormones) from cells or glands, or to hide/conceal something, often in a formal context |
| Dilute | to make a liquid thinner, weaker, or less concentrated by adding another substance, typically a solvent like water |
| Constraint | a limitation, restriction, or boundary that controls, shapes, or prevents certain actions within a system. |
| Criterion | a standard, rule, or test upon which a decision, judgment, or evaluation is based |
| Carrying Capacity (biological definition) | the maximum number of individuals of a particular species that a specific environment can sustainably support over the long term without degrading the habitat or depleting its resources. |
| Correlation | a statistical measure defining the strength and direction of a relationship between two quantitative variables, ranging from -1 to +1 |
