A Christmas Carol

Give a quote of Tiny Tim "God bless us, every one!"
How does this quote present him? Presents him as an exemplary child who embodies the spirit of Christmas.
What does "every one" highlight? Highlights he is compassionate and caring.
Why does Dickens quote this at the end? To attribute a sense of importance of this character and leave the reader with the image of him as a symbol of hope
Give a quote that is said about Tiny Tim. "My little, little child", cried Bob. "My little child!"
What method is used here and why? Dickens uses epimone (repetition to emphasise point) to further the frail and weak characterisation, to further induce sympathy within the reader
What does "little" connote? Connotes ideas of innocence and helplessness, furthering the injustice of the situation
