| Dumpster Diving | search through dumpsters or similar trash receptacles for edible food or items of value. |
| Firewall | a network security system—either hardware or software—that monitors and controls incoming and outgoing network traffic based on predetermined security rules |
| forgery | the action of forging or producing a copy of a document, signature, banknote, or work of art. |
| fraud | the intentional use of deception, lies, or trickery to gain an unfair advantage, usually money or property, at the expense of another person or organization |
| identity theft | when someone steals your personal information—such as your name, Social Security number, or financial details—to use without permission, usually for financial gain |
| Peer to Peer | denoting or relating to computer networks in which each computer can act as a server for the others, allowing shared access to files and peripherals without the need for a central server. |
| Phishing | a cybercrime where attackers impersonate legitimate organizations or individuals via email, text, or phone to steal sensitive data like passwords, credit card numbers, and login credentials |
| Shoulder Surfing | the practice of spying on the user of an ATM, computer, or other electronic device in order to obtain their personal access information. |
