QuestionAnswer
interquartile range (IQR) - the difference between the upper quartile and lower quartile
mean - the sum of a set of values divided by the number of values; often called the average
mean absolute deviation (MAD) - the sum of the distances of each data point from the mean of the data set divided by the number of data points; always positive
measure of center a single number that summarizes what is typical for all the values in a data set
