Diplomatic immunity they are not subject to the laws of the state to which they are accredited
Passport a legal document issued by state that identifies a person as a citizen of state
visa a permit to enter another state and must be obtained from the country one wishes to enter
Foreign aid economic and military aid given to other countries
regional security alliances network built on mutual defense treaties
NATO mutual defense treaty, and alliance formed to protect its members
United Nations an association to 193 countries that discuss issues so as to avoid war, and each must agree to the UN charter
Security council Made of 15 members, maintains international peace
Trusteeship council UN body that exists in name only
Espionage spying
Terrorism violence uses to intimidate a government or society
Balkans an example of "crsis management and peace keeping" by the UN
