eponyms terms used in medicine that are named after people, places, or things
opioids substances that work in the nervous system, of the body or in specific receptors in the brain to reduce the intensity of pain
prefix a syllable or word placed at the beginning of a word
suffix a syllable or word placed at the end of the word
transcribe put the word and/or its meaning in written form.
word roots main words or parts to which prefixes and suffixes can be added
