Formas avanzadas o básicas de usarlo

TermDefinition
Uso de mayúsculas y minúsculas Google no distingue entre ellas. Una búsqueda para "TRÁFICO WEB" arrojará los mismos resultados que "tráfico web".
Utilización automática del operador "and" en las consultas Por defecto, Google asume que hay un "AND" (y) entre cada palabra que escribes.
Exclusión automática de términos comunes Google ignora automáticamente palabras vacías o "stop words" (como el, la, de, en, un) para agilizar la búsqueda, a menos que sean parte de una frase exacta entre comillas.
Búsquedas basadas en frases Se realiza colocando el texto entre comillas " ". Esto obliga al buscador a encontrar las palabras exactamente en ese orden y juntas, sin variaciones.
"Voy a tener suerte" Es un botón que te dirige directamente a la primera página web resultante de tu búsqueda, saltándose la lista de resultados de Google.
Búsqueda mediante el operador "OR" Permite buscar páginas que contengan uno u otro término
Búsqueda de intervalos numéricos Se utiliza poniendo dos puntos seguidos .. entre dos números
Exclusiones Se usa el signo menos - justo antes de una palabra para que no aparezca en los resultados.
cache Es una copia de seguridad de una página web guardada por Google. Permite ver el contenido de un sitio aunque este se encuentre caído o haya sido modificado recientemente.
Búsqueda en dominios Utiliza el comando site: para buscar información solo dentro de un sitio específico o una extensión.
