Herbivore an animal that eats only plants.
Carnivore an animal that eats only meat.
Omnivore an animal that eats meat and plants.
Diurnal an animal that is primarily active during the day.
Nocturnal an animal that is primarily active during the night.
Monocular Vision An animal that has eyes placed on either side of their head, which view separate images.
Binocular Vision An animal that has eyes placed in the front of their head, which view the same image at once.
Orbit the cavity or socket of the skull that houses the eyeball.
Carnivore skull has sharp incisors and canines, as well as a few premolars and molars for killing and eating meat.
Herbivore skull have primarily premolars and molars for consuming plants. They sometimes have incisors for tasks like cracking open nuts.
Omnivore skull also have incisors and canines for eating meat, as well as more premolars and molars for consuming plants than do Carnivores.
