Natural Selection

The study of trait variation in diffrent populations

TermDefinition
Species A group of organisms that are physically similar and can reproduce with each other to produce offspring.
Population: A group of organisms of a species living in the same environment over time. A group of organisms of a species living in the same environment over time.
Trait: A characteristic of an organism; many traits are inherited (genetic)
Environmental Conditions: Variables in the environment such as food and water availability, water quality, temperature, air quality, topography, habitat, and natural hazards.
Probability The chances or likelihood that something will happen.
