| Domain | a user-friendly, unique address for a website or a centrally managed group of computers and resources on a network. |
| Freeware | a computer software available for use at no monetary cost, typically without an expiration date. |
| Hyperlink | a clickable element—usually blue, underlined text or an image—that instantly connects one web page, document, or specific section to another. |
| Netiquette | a set of unofficial rules for good behavior and politeness followed by users of online and digital technologies such as the Internet, email, and chatrooms |
| Boolean logic | a fundamental system of binary mathematics—introduced by George Boole in the 19th century—that evaluates variables as either true (1) or false (0) |
| Pictogram | a form of visual communication that uses simplified graphic symbols, icons, or illustrations to represent objects, actions, concepts, or data. |
| Piracy | the digital tools, platforms, and techniques used to illegally copy, distribute, modify, or use copyrighted material—such as software, music, movies, and games—without authorization from the rights holder |
