| Accommodation | temporary lodgings, sometimes also including board |
| Adjoining Rooms | a hotel bedroom that shares a wall with another room but doesn't have a connecting door between them |
| Airbnb | renting out a shared living space |
| all-inclusive | including everything or everyone |
| All-inclusive Resort | a holiday resort that generally includes, in the price of booking a stay, lodging, unlimited food and drinks, entertainment, and other recreational activities |
| Amenities | a desirable or useful feature or facility of a building or place |
| Aparthotel | a type of hotel providing self-catering apartments as well as ordinary hotel facilities |
| B&B | a type of accommodation in a private home |
| Chain Hotel | an accommodation that's part of a group of hotels operated by the same company or owner |
| Concierge | a hotel employee whose job is to assist guests by arranging tours, making theater and restaurant reservations |
| Eco Hotel | an environmentally sustainable hotel or accommodation that has made important environmental improvements to its structure in order to minimize its impact on the natural environment |
| Group Rate | a discounted rate offered by hotels or businesses for reservations made by organized groups |
| Hostel | an establishment that provides inexpensive lodging for a specific group of people, such as students, workers, or travelers |
| Hotel | an establishment providing accommodations, meals, and other services for travelers and tourists |
| Market Segmentation | the process of dividing a broad market into smaller groups of customers that share meaningful characteristics, such as demographics, geography, psychographics, or behavior |
| Micro-stay Hotel | a property where guest rooms typically measure 150 square feet or less, roughly half the size of traditional hotel rooms, balanced by well-designed communal spaces |
| Motel | a roadside hotel designed primarily for motorists, typically having the rooms arranged in a low building with parking directly outside |
| Peak Days | high-demand dates when travel volume surges, often during holidays or large events |
| Porter | a person employed to carry luggage and other loads, especially in a railroad station, airport, or hotel |
| Premium Price | when the price of a product or service is significantly higher than similar |
| Shoulder Days | individual days with brief peak savings opportunities |
| Tourist Destination | a city, town, or other area that is significantly dependent on revenues from tourism |
| VRBO | an online vacation rental site where property owners can list their homes for rent |
