what year was the Constitution created and signed and ratified? created and signed on September 17, 1787 and was ratified on June 21,1788
Why was the Bill of rights added to our Constitution? to add rights to individual American citizens.
How many amendments are in the Bill of rights? 10 amendments
what is the first amendment? the freedom of religion, speech, and press.
what's the second amendment? the right to bear arms.
what is the third amendment? to limit soldiers to live in your houses without permission.
what's the fourth amendment? the limit of your property being searched or seized without your permission or warrent
what is the fifth amendment? gives the rights for a person to not testify against there self.
what's the sixth amendment? gives you the right to a fair and speedy trial.
what is the seventh amendment? you have the right to a trial by jury in a civil proceedings.
what's the eighth amendment? you can't be charged excessive fines or bail or be punished in a cruel or unusual way.
what is the ninth amendment? the right to have other rights even though they aren't listed
what's the tenth amendment? the right to make other rights in state governments.
