Addition Prop Equality If you add the same number to each side of an equation, the two sides remain equal
Division Prop of Equality If you didvide the same number oneach side of an equation by the same nonzero number, the two sides remain equal
Inequality An open sentence that uses signs to compare two quantities
Multiplication Prop of Inequality When you multiply each side of an inequality by a negitive number, the Inequality symbol must be reversed to remain true
