Jet Stream a band of high speed wind 6-14 kilometers above Earth's surface
Continental Polar forms over land - cold, dry air mass
Continental Tropical forms over land - warm, dry air mass
Maritime Polar forms over water - cold, humid air mass
Maritime Tropical forms over water - warm humid air mass
Evaporation liquid that gains enough energy to become a gas
Condensation water vapor cools and changes into liquid water
Percipitation water that falls to Earth as rain, snow, sleet, or hail
