Beta Blockers (Selective+Non-Selective)

| What do Beta Blockers do? | They block beta receptor sites (a1, b1, b2) so EP and NE cannot bind to receptor sites and elicit the sympathetic nervous system. Therefore, lowering blood pressure. |
| What are the most common side effects of Beta Blockers? | bradycardia, hypotension, fatigue, worsen asthma or COPD (in non-selective Beta Blockers), mask hypoglycemia |
