Accommodation Temporary lodgings, sometimes also including board.
Adjoining Rooms Two hotel rooms that share a wall but do not have a connecting door.
Airbnb An online marketplace that allows people to rent out their homes and other properties to travelers.
All-inclusive Including everything or everyone.
All-inclusive Resort A vacation property where the price of your stay includes lodging, food, drinks, and activities.
Amenities A desirable or useful feature or facility of a building or place.
Aparthotel A type of accommodation that combines hotel services with apartment-style living.
B&B A small lodging establishment that offers overnight accommodation and breakfast.
Chain Hotel A group of hotels operating under the same brand, following a standardized business model.
Concierge A hotel employee whose job is to assist guests by arranging tours, making theater and restaurant reservations, etc.
Eco Hotel An environmentally sustainable hotel or accommodation that has made important environmental improvements to its structure.
Group Rate Refers to a discounted price offered by businesses to organized groups of travelers or customers, typically for bookings of multiple rooms, services, or tickets.
Hostel An establishment which provides inexpensive food and lodging for a specific group of people, such as students, workers, or travelers.
Hostel An establishment providing accommodations, meals, and other services for travelers and tourists.
Market Segmentation The process of dividing a broad target market into distinct groups based on shared characteristics, needs, or behaviors, allowing businesses to tailor their marketing efforts for greater effectiveness.
Micro-stay hotel Residency periods in a hotel room of less than a full night stay, choosing the check-in time and length of the stay in hours.
Motel A roadside hotel designed primarily for motorists, typically having the rooms arranged in a low building with parking directly outside.
Peak Days Refers to the busiest or most popular time, often associated with higher prices or charges.
Porter A person employed to carry luggage and other loads, especially in a railroad station, airport, or hotel.
Premium Price A prize, bonus, or award given as an inducement, as to purchase products, enter competitions initiated by business interests, etc.
Shoulder Days Refers to the period between a destination's peak and low seasons, offering travelers a balance of affordability, smaller crowds, and potentially better weather compared to the busiest times.
Tourist Destination A city, town, or other area that is significantly dependent on revenues from tourism.
VRBO An acronym for "Vacation Rentals by Owner," is an online marketplace where property owners can list their homes for rent,
