What is the abbreviation of "No known drug allergies"? NKDA
What is an LPN? Licensed practical nurse, trained and certified to provide basic care to a patient
What is the prone position? When the patient is laying flat on their chest with their back face up
What does SOAP stand for? S- Subjective (what the patient says) O- Objective ( what the tests reveal) A-Assessment ( the analysis of the subjective and objective information) P- Plan( course of action for the patient)
What is included in the Operative Report? What the surgery was, what has happened during the surgery, the surgeons notes and the operative findings.
