| Associate's Degree | degree to someone that has completed two years of study. |
| Scholarship | sum of money aid to a student to pursue their studies. |
| Grant | as a privilege or right sum of money. |
| FAFSA | The free Application for Federal Student Aid financial aid from the federal government. |
| Financial Aid | monetary support loan or scholarship to pay for school |
| State University/college | financially supported by a state government |
| Liberal Arts | Academic course of instruction |
| Humanities | investigate literature |
| Private university/college | rely on student tuition fees fund their academic programs |
