TermDefinition
Density How much mass is in an object. The tennis ball is less dense than the brick.
Humidity The measure of water vapor in the atmosphere. The air is very humid after it rained.
High pressure system An area with a higher atmospheric pressure than its surroundings. - The higher atmospheric pressure will make it less likely to rain
Low pressure system An area with a lower atmospheric pressure than its surroundings. The Lower atmospheric pressure makes it more likely to rain today.
Temperature How hot or cold something is. The temperature is below freezing!
Wind Air in motion. It is a very windy day.
Weather The state of the atmosphere at a time and place. The weather today will have extreme winds and rain.
