Ancient Egypt studying flashcards

Specialization The study of government, religion, civilization, and education.

Artifacts Something that is man-made from ancient times.
Archaeologist Someone who carefully excavates ancient stuff.
Archaeology The study of excavating ancient artifacts.
Domestication Training animals to be useful to humanity.
Civilization training for a specific job
Desert A dry piece of land that has lots of sand and not lots of water.
Pharaoh An Egyptian king from thousands of years ago.
Canopic jars The jars that the Egyptians stored the useful organs from the dead body.
Ma'at (the concept, not goddess) The way of living in harmony, respect and balance.
Menes (king) The first king ever of Upper Egypt that conquered lower Egypt to unite the two kingdom's.
Sea A large body of salt water.
Natural buffer A natural helpful useful thing to humans that protects them.
