| Adjacent angles | Two non overlapping angles that share a vertex and a side. |
| Complementary | Two angles whose measures sum to 90 degrees. |
| Straight angle | An angle that measures 180 degrees; the sides form a straight line. |
| Supplementary angles | Two angles whose measures sum to 180 degrees |
| Vertical angles | Opposite angles formed when two lines intersect; have the same measure. |
| Acute angles | An angle that measures more than 0 degrees but less than 90 degrees. |
