Infrared radiation used for thermal imaging, remote controls, communication, and heating
Visible light radiation used for human vision, photosynthesis, and daily illumination
Ultraviolet radiation used for germicidal disinfection (air, water, surfaces), curing inks/coatings, medical phototherapy
X-ray radiation used for medical imaging to detect bone fractures, infections (like pneumonia), dental cavities, and tumors
Gamma radiation used for cancer radiotherapy, sterilization of medical equipment and food
