muscle stimulus

muscle will contract only if applied stimulus reaches certain level of intensity
threshold stimulus minimal level of stimulation is required to cause muscle contraction
once a muscle is stimulated by threshold stimulus muscle fiber will completely contract a response called " all or nothing "
