gravity and the moon

Earth

TermDefinition
Gravity The force of attraction between any two objects due to their mass.
Orbit The path of one object travels around another object.
Inertia The tendency of a moving object to keep moving in a straight line or any other to resist a change in motion
Revolution One complete trip of one object around another object
Rotation a complete spin on axis
Phase The apperance of the shape of the moon at a particular time
Solar eclipse A blocking if the sun's light that happens when the earth passes through the moon's shadow
Lunar eclipse A situation that occurss when the sun, earth, and the moon are in a straight line causing earth's shadow to fall on the moon.
Tide The regular rise thd fall of the water level along a shoreline
