Learning Style A preferred way of taking in and processing information.
VARK A model describing Visual, Aural, Read/Write, and Kinesthetic learning preferences.
Visual Learner Learns best through diagrams, charts, and visual cues.
Aural Learner Learns best through listening, discussion, and verbal explanation.
Read/Write Learner Learns best through written words, lists, and note taking.
Kinesthetic Learner Learns best through hands on activities and real world examples.
S.M.A.R.T. Goals Goals that are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time bound.
Short Term Goal A goal achievable in the near future (days/weeks).
Long Term Goal A goal requiring extended time and planning (months/years).
S stands for Specific
M stands for Measurable
A stands for Achievable
R stands for Relevant
T stands for Time bound
V stands for Visual
A in learning styles stands for Auditory
R in learning styles stands for Read/ Write
K in learning styles stands for Kinesthetic
