Stock The complete wooden part of the rifle from the butt plate forward.
Fore end of the stock The complete wooden part of the rifle from the trigger guard forward. The barrel and rifle mechanism are encased in this component of the rifle.
Barrel The tube that the pellet goes through once it has been fired.
Butt plate The part of the rifle that will be in direct contact with the marksman’s shoulder.
Front sight Global front sight that uses aperture inserts which are interchangeable, and often circular, elements used to improve accuracy by enabling the shooter to align the target within a ring.
Rear sight Allows you to dial in your shots using knobs on the side and top. The knobs are in control of the left and right,along with up and down. Enabling the shooter to get the most desired positioning of their sight.
Muzzle This is the point of the rifle where the pellet actually exits. The front sight is also connected to this point.
Trigger guard A metal band that surrounds and protects your trigger.
Trigger A component that is able to be pulled. Once pulled it will release a spring that will in turn release the rifle mechanism.
Bolt A clip used to open and close your chamber after a pellet is loaded or after a pellet has been shot.
Pump lever This is used to compress air into your chamber. The compressed air makes it so your pellet is actually fired out of the rifle.
Safety catch A little button that once engaged prevents the rifle from being fired.
Feed track The place where you would actually load your pellet.
Small of the butt A curved area directly behind the trigger guard where the hand controlling the trigger will grip the rifle.
