TermDefinition
Abbreviations Shortened forms of words, usually just letters.
Eponyms Terms used in medicine that are named after people, places, or things.
Opioids Substances that work in the nervous system of the body or in specific receptors in the brain to reduce the intensity of pain.
Prefix An affix attached to the beginning of a word.
Suffix An affix attached to the end of a word.
Transcribe Put a word and/ or its meaning in written worm.
Word roots Main words or parts of words to which prefixes and suffixes can be added.
