who was Augustus and why was he good for Rome? He was the first Roman/best emperor. He brought peace to Rome. He also made Rome more stable.
Who were the 5 "good emperors" ? Trajan, Nerva, Itadrian, Marcus Aruelius, and Antoninous Pius.
What did Trajan do? Conquered new land
What did Nerva do? all to the Roman poor and regarded as a fair ruler.
What did Itadrian do? travelled and built walls to separate provinces of non-Roman lands.
What did Marcus Aurelius do? wrote a philosophy book
What did Antoninous Pius? under his rule Rome was the most peaceful it had ever been?
Many built what? Aqueducts, public baths, stadiums, and large buildings
Octavian did what in 30 B.C. ? took control of Rome
how many years of peace? 200

what kind of leader was Diocletian? he held on to power for many years. he reorganized the imperial govenrment
what did Diocletian do? he sent troops to restore peace
who was the emperor after Diocletian? Constantine.
what was the result of the attack from the Huns? they triggered a crisis.
why do mercenaries fight they fight for pay rather than for their country.
