Geometery

TermDefinition
Parallelogram/Rectangle/Square A = b x h
Triangle A = b x h / 2
Trapezoid A = (b1 + b2) x h / 2
Face any surface including the bases .A lateral face doesn't include the bases.
Base The base of a 3D shape names the shape.
Vertex The vertex is the corner of a 3D figure
Edge The edge is the line segment that joins 2 faces
Prism 2 parellel bases that are separated by height of the figure, the bases are congruent.
Pyramid A solid figure with one base and triangular faces
