Animal and Plant Cells

TermDefinition
Nucleus Control center of the cell.
Cell Membrane Controls what enters and leaves the cell.
Cytoplasm A jelly like fluid that holds all of the organelles or cell parts.
Vacuole Stores waste for the cell.
Mitochondria Makes energy for the cell.
What shape is an animal cell? Round
What shape is a plant cell? Rectangular
Chloroplast Produces energy for the plant cell during photosynthesis.
Cell Wall Provides the plant cell with shape and protection.
