| Grapefruit Juice | Interacts with Statins, increases statin toxicity |
| MAO Inhibitors X Tyramine diet | MAO inhibitors (Tranylcypromine, Isocarboxazid, Phenelzine) taken with a tyramine-rich diet (strong/aged cheeses, fermented foods, alcohol such as beer, sauerkraut, soy or teriyaki sauce and cured meats) can trigger a hypertensive crisis |
| Antacids X Dairy or Calcium, Magnesium and Iron | This combo can reduce efficacy of Levothyroxine, Tetracyclines, Bisphoshonates and Fluoroquinolones |
| Leafy Green Vegetables X Warfarin (ie Vitamin K) | Reduces efficacy of Warfarin, therefore increasing risk of blood clot formation |
| ACE Inhibitors (-pril) X Potassium supplements | Electrolyte imbalance or hyperkalemia |
| Anti-Platelets X NSAIDS X Anti Coagulants | Increased risk of bleeding |
| Beta Blockers and Calcium Channel Blockers | Slow Heart Rate and increased risk of heart failure |
| Broad spectrum antibiotics and Warfarin | Increased risk of bleeding |
| Digoxin with diuretics | Loop and thiazide diuretics can lead to digoxin toxicity |
| Corticosteroids and NSAIDs | Increased risk of peptic ulceration and GI bleed |
| PPIs and Anti-Platelet | Decrease in both drugs effectiveness |
