| acid reflux | stomach acid flows back into the esophagus. |
| gall stones | hardened deposits of digestive fluid must be removed by surgery |
| celiac disease | immune system reaction to gluten that causes severe inflamation of the small intestines |
| crohn's disease | inflammation of the small intestine and larger intestine, severe abdominal pain that is aggravated by diet and stress |
| ulcerative colitis | inflammation in the colon (large intestine) to the rectum, bleeding and abdominal pain , open sores can occur |
| irritable bowel syndrome | severe abdominal pain, bloating (gas), diarrhea and constipation, specific diet, lifestyle and controlling stress |
| hemorrhoids | caused by straining during bowel movements, rectal bleeding |
| diverticulitis | common over age 40 , inflamed portion of the large intestine |
| diarrhea | usually caused by a virus or contaminated food, frequent loose, watery stools |
| constipation | could be caused by dehydration, lack of fiber, physical activity, No or really difficult bowel movements |
| gastritis | upper belly pain, nausea and vomiting, antibiotics and anti acids help |
| peptic ulcer disease | stomach acid damages lining of the stomach, creates sores, may bleed. Hurts when eating spicy or acidic foods |
| lactose intolerant | the inability to break down lactose, the body does not make the enzyme lactose. |
