What did feudalism help develop a solution to? Feudalism develops as a solution to guard against Viking attacks, and other threats.
How does feudalism begin? Begins with the fall of the Franks and spreads to the other parts of Europe.
William of Normandy (William the Conqueror) brought feudalism from the continent to England in 1066
How were manors self-sufficient? Manors were self-sufficient because they were far from the next town/village. All goods had to be made on the manor.
What is the feudalism pyramid? King, Lord, Knights, Peasants/Serf
