Firmly acting in a secure, stable, or unwavering manner, indicating strength, resolve, or fixed positioning.
Scold to angrily or sharply criticize someone for doing something wrong.

Prod /prodding to poke or jab someone/something with a finger or pointed object, often to get attention.
Tatter /tattered Tattered describes items (especially clothing, flags, or books) that are old, torn, and ragged, often hanging in shreds due to heavy wear. A tatter is a single torn piece or shred.
