dormitory Where students live on campus
fraternity A social group usually for males at a college
sorority A social group for females at a college
student center A place for students to spend time studying, eating, hanging out, etc.
academic Related to schoolwork
assignment A piece of work given to someone
credit A measurement for college classes taken
curriculum What is studied in a college class
extracurricular Other things students participate in that are not their classes
Grade Point Average (GPA) A number that tells how someone scored in their classes on average
homecoming A celebration at a school to honor people who were students before
qualification an official record showing that you have finished a training course or have the necessary skills, etc.
scholarship Money you get to help pay for college
tuition Money you pay to go to a college
major A student's main area of study
minor A student's second area of study
undergraduate A student studying for their first degree in college
associate's degree A two-year college program
bachelor's degree A 4 year college program
graduate degree Degrees that you can get after completing an undergraduate degree
