| presume | To suppose something is true on the basis of probability or good reason. |
| reason | To think, understand, and form judgments in a logical way. |
| meditate | To think deeply or focus one's mind quietly for a period of time. |
| speculate | To form an idea or theory about a subject without firm proof. |
| juxtaposition | Placing two things close together with a contrasting effect. |
| abandon | To leave a place or a thing or person forever; to give up. |
| brevity | The quality of being brief or using few words when speaking or writing. |
