| response | a reaction to some factor or condition |
| tropism | a plant's growth or movement in response to a stimulus |
| visual | the set of cells tissues and organs in the eyes and brain that makes vision possible |
| auditory | the set of cells tissues and organs in the ears and brain that enable hearing |

| function | the way that something works to achieve a task or serve a purpose |
