| nerves | a bundle of cells that send and receive messages between the brain and other body parts |

| response | a reaction to some factor or condition |
| tropism | a plant's growth or movement in response to a stimulus |
| visual | the set of cells tissues and organs in the eyes and brain that makes vision possible |
| auditory | the set of cells tissues and organs in the ears and brain that enable hearing |
| structure | the arrangement of parts that make up something |
| function | the way that something works to achieve a task or serve a purpose |
| brain | an organ of soft nervous tissue contains at the base of the skull - it is the coordination system for the senses nerves and intellectual activity |

| braille | a tactile form of written language for people who are unable to see |
| sign language | a system of communication using visual gestures and signs |
