| Extraction | the action of taking out something, especially using effort or force. |
| Free enterprise system | an economic system characterized by private ownership of property, voluntary exchange, and minimal government intervention |
| Interchangeable parts | components made to identical, precise specifications, allowing them to be swapped between, or used to assemble, products without custom fitting |
| Labor union | an organized association of workers—often in the same trade or industry—formed to protect and promote their common interests, such as higher wages, better benefits, safer working conditions, and job security |
