Rock Mountains The major mountain range in western North America.
Glacier A huge, slow-moving mass of snow and ice.
Great Lakes The worlds largest group of fresh water.
Tributary A river or stream that flows into a larger river.
Tudura A cold, dry region covered with snow for more that half the year
Permafrost A permanently frozen layer of ground below the top layer of soil.
Prairie A reigon of flat or rolling land covered with grasses.
