| Blood born pathogens | in the blood. pathogenic microorganisms that are present n human blood and can cause disease in humans. these pathogens include, but not limited to. hep b virus and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) |

| Critical incident stress management (CISM) | a process that addresses response to critical incidents and helps defuse them, guiding emergency services personel toward physical and emotional equilibrium |
