Waves

The studeid of Waves and there properties

TermDefinition
Longitudinal wave causes a particle in a medium to move
Sound wave Is a longitudinal wave that can only travel through matter
Wave Is a disturbance that transfers energy
Mechanical wave Can travel through solids, liquids, and gassed
Medium A material In Witch a wave travels
Tranverse wave A wave in which the disturbance is perpendicular
Frequency Wave have another property called
Wavelength Between one point on a wave to the same point on the next wave.
