Resource vocab

TermDefinition
Renewable resource A natural resource that can be replaced at the same rate it was consumed
Non-renewable resource A natural resource that can NOT be replaced at the same rate it was consumed
Distribution The arrangement of something across the earths surface
Per capita Per person
Natural gas Fossil fuel in a gas state
Fossil fuels Coals, gas, and other fuels that are ancient remains of plants/animals
Natural resource Materials or substances such as water, forest, and fertile land that occur in nature and can be used for economic gain
