TermDefinition
Data Information that can help us understand something or make a decision.
Data Analyst A person who looks at data to answer questions and explain what it means.
Data Scientist A person who uses advanced tools to find patterns and make predictions from data.
Data Engineer A person who builds systems that collect and store data so others can use it.
Data Collection Gathering information from surveys, apps, websites, or other sources.
Data Cleaning Fixing mistakes or missing information in data so it is accurate.
Data Visualization Showing data in charts or graphs so it is easier to understand.
Reporting Sharing results from data using charts, summaries, or dashboards.
Database A digital place where information is stored and organized.
Spreadsheet A program that organizes data into rows and columns.
Trend A pattern or change in data over time.
Prediction An educated guess about what might happen based on past data.
