Protein A type of molecule in our body that our body needs. A large molecule that makes up an essential part of all living organisms.
Myosin A protein found in muscle cells that allows muscles to contract and relax
Actin A protein found in muscle silo that allows muscles to contract and relax
Phenotype A word used to refer to the way an organism looks
Pedigree A graphic organizer that keeps track of the biological relationships of parents and their offspring and there variations of a specific trait
Sexual reproduction When an egg cell and a sperm cell, each containing a single or half set of chromosomes, combined to develop cells containing a full set of chromosomes.
Chromosomes A common feature of most cells that is occupied when new cells are made called chromosomes. They are a physical structure that are passed off to offspring in egg and sperm.
Karyotype An organized set of chromosomes from a cell that allows scientist to find specific patterns
Nucleus A common feature found in most cells and holds the chromosomes.
