What is the IDEIA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act)? A federal law requiring schools to provide assistive technology devices and services if needed for a student with a disability to receive FAPE.
What is Section 504 (Vocational Rehabilitation Act 1973)? A civil rights law prohibiting discrimination against individuals with disabilities in programs receiving federal funding and requiring appropriate accommodations.
What is the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) 1990? A law ensuring equal access and reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities in employment, public services, and public spaces.
