alveoli alveol/o Tiny, balloon-shaped sacs where oxygen and carbon dioxide are exchanged.
Bronchioles bronchi/o Small, branched airways extending from the bronchi into the lungs.
Trachea trache/o The windpipe, a main airway leading from the larynx to the bronchi
Diaphragm phren/o The primary muscle of respiration that separates the chest cavity from the abdomen.
Pleura pleur/o A two-layered membrane that covers the lungs and lines the chest cavity.

Kidneys Nephr/o, Ren/o) Organs that filter blood, balance electrolytes, and produce urine.
Ureters (Ureter/o) Tubes transporting urine from kidneys to the bladder.

Urethra (Urethr/o) Tube carrying urine outside the body.
Renal Pelvis Pyel/o) Funnel-shaped structure in the kidney.
